Training of Trainers
– Being a member of the Senior Leadership Team, an Academic Coordinator and an English HoD
– I plan and execute multi-course professional development sessions for the entire faculty around the theme of All Teachers are Language Teachers.
– My Master’s in Education (MED), PGCE, hands-on teaching experience in mainstream education,
and my familiarity with modern teaching strategies empowers me to share my knowledge with other teachers.
– Possessing international school experience, positive leadership and mentor attitude, and success in
mentoring my team members and teaching high school students have instilled a
strong desire to promote teachers’ and students’ learning.
– I construct a collaborative-inquiry process, including setting data-based goals, designing and executing an annual action plan around the goal, analysing and refinement techniques based on interim assessments, and targeting student literacy and vocabulary acquisition.
– Alongside Principals, I am responsible for the recruitment process, training, mentoring and professional growth of staff within the department.
– I oversee the gathering and analysis of the department data, use findings to create department-level goals, and develop presentations to internal staff, administration, and visiting teachers.
I implement various assessment tools across the school, aligning testing, placement, and tracking
students’ performance across KS3, KS4 and KS5.
– I analyse school improvement data to coach English teachers in successfully implementing the new
curriculum to meet students’ needs.
– I construct English curriculum materials that all English teachers use.
-Being a certified Google teacher, I train teachers on employing technology in their daily lessons.
